We are in the airport to drop her off for mexico, and Emily and I are racing each other along the escalator. We are happy, a little self possessed. Not Ellie.  She sees a street musician playing a violin type thing. She stands in front of her, listens to a whole song, talks about the instrument, gives her a hug, a kiss , tells her she loves her and that she looks great and is doing a good job.
